Why The Cummings Feola Family Foundation Was Created

Billy Graham once said, "The greatest legacy one can pass on to one's children and grandchildren is not money, but rather a legacy of character and faith." It's a funny thing to think about - legacy. We work all our lives to be able to live how we want and buy what we want but at the end of the day, the possessions that we have mean nothing without the people we love.

The Cummings Feola Family Foundation was created in honor of two men, two fathers who impacted their children's lives in a way that drove the importance of family and the endless compassion they had for not only the people in their lives but around the world. Both men were soldiers in World War II who fought for freedom, sacrificed for their families, and they loved the people that mattered to them.

Edward Cummings and John A. Feola were heroes to Charlene Cummings (Feola) and John J. Feola. The founders wanted to create a legacy to help people, honor their fathers, and build something together with their children (Sal, Chantel, and John E.). It is something that can be passed down to family generations, to teach people how to handle their finances well at a young age, and to help people go to college debt-free. Having lived in various parts of the country there was one town that was connected to us all - Baldwinsville, New York. This was the town where John J. and Charlene Feola raised their three children, grew their family, and had experiences that changed their lives. It is a town that is still close to all their hearts and sends warm reminders of what really is home. Home isn't a place, but the memories that surround our experiences and steal a piece of our hearts.

So here is the start of The Cummings Feola Family Foundation. An everyday family that wants to do good in this world together.
